Saraya Abdali Real Estate Investment Company, a subsidiary of Saraya Holdings, has commissioned the Amman-based Dubai Construction Company (DCC), a subsidiary of Dubai Contracting Company, to build a 78,000-square metre mixed use tower in Abdali, Amman’s new downtown. As part of the $200 million project, the contractor will build W Amman, a 36-storey tower comprising 280 rooms and 42 exclusive serviced residences. Saraya Abdali selected the concept design presented by Perkins & Will (P&W), themed after the unique architecture of the Nabatean city of Petra. Khalil S. Saket, general manager of Saraya Abdali Real Estate Investment Company, said: “The signing of this contract is a major milestone that ushers in an exciting stage in our business plans. This project is designed to provide world-class facilities to support Jordan’s tourism and business growth.” Abdallah H.
