AMMAN — The Export House Company is preparing to organise the Jordanian pavilion at the 62nd Damascus International Fair, which will be held in the Syrian capital Damascus during the period August 27 to September 5, with a "wide" participation of 42 Jordanian companies from industrial and service sectors.

According to the company's statement on Sunday, the Jordanian pavilion will aim to enhance Jordan's economic presence in the Syrian market, open new horizons for national companies to increase their exports.

The pavilion will introduce the quality and competitiveness of the Jordanian product in various fields, including the food industry, chemical industry, cosmetics industry, plastic industries, packaging industry and service companies such as banks, hospitals, and information technology companies.

This participation comes as part of the "continuous" efforts of the Export House Company in supporting "national" industries that contribute to achieving the goals of the Economic Modernisation Vision (EMV) and the national export strategy, the public service TV Al Mamlaka, reported.

This participation also serves to provide "international" platforms for the promotion of Jordanian products, which keep pace with Jordan's plans to expand the export base and diversify markets, in addition to enhancing trade and investment cooperation between Jordan and Syria.

The Jordanian pavilion at the exhibition will be a "platform" for "direct" communication between Jordanian companies and their Syrian, regional and international counterparts, and discuss opportunities for trade and investment partnerships,

This platform will contribute to enhancing economic integration and expanding the network of cooperation at various levels, whether in terms of exchanging experiences and knowledge, developing joint investments, and enhancing the flow of goods and services between markets.
