A dense sandstorm blanketed the capital of Amman on Sunday night, causing visibility to drop significantly.

 

ArabiaWeather issued a warning for travelers on the Desert Highway and Airport Road, where a strong sandstorm was causing near-zero visibility.

 

Regional weather service ArabiaWeather urged drivers to exercise extreme caution and follow safety instructions to avoid accidents.

 

Queen Alia International Airport recorded visibility of just 50 meters as a result of the powerful sandstorm, ArabiaWeather added.
