A fire at a perfume shop in the Marka al-Janubiyah area of Amman has left three people dead and five others injured, according to a Public Security Directorate media spokesperson.

 

Civil Defense crews responded to the blaze on Monday evening. Firefighters and paramedics were able to extinguish the fire, evacuate the deceased, and transport the injured to the nearest hospital.

 

An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances and cause of the fire.
