The “Israeli” military confirmed Monday it killed prominent Gazan journalist Anas Al-Sharif, claiming he “posed as a journalist for Al Jazeera who served as the head of a terrorist cell” in Hamas.

 

The statement by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) further claims Al-Sharif was “responsible for advancing rocket attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.”

 

The strike took place in front of Al-Shifa Hospital in Rimal Neighborhood in Gaza City, where various journalists set up a tent near the entrance.
