AMMAN — Following Royal directives, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday ordered the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) to dispatch an aircraft to evacuate a six-year-old Jordanian child who was injured in a traffic accident in the UAE.

 

The evacuation was carried out in coordination with the Jordanian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, with the aircraft carrying a specialised medical team from the Royal Jordanian Air Force Medical Services to provide the child with the necessary care during the transfer to Jordan.

 

The aircraft arrived at Marka Military Airport on Wednesday evening, after which the child was transferred to Al Hussein Medical City to continue treatment under the supervision of specialised medical teams, according to a Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) statement.

 

The child’s family expressed their gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, for the humanitarian gesture and praised the armed forces’ efforts to support citizens in various circumstances.

 

The evacuation was carried out as part of Royal directives and reflects the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army’s commitment to providing assistance to Jordanian citizens, particularly in emergency medical and humanitarian cases, both inside and outside the Kingdom.
