Jordanians across the Kingdom celebrated the 79th Independence Day on Sunday with patriotic fervor, marking nearly eight decades since the country gained full sovereignty in 1946.
Streets across Amman and other cities were lined with flags, with families and youth preparing for a day full of national pride and festivities.
Government buildings, historical sites, and main roads are dressed in red, white, green, and black — the colors of the Jordanian flag — as events kick off nationwide.
