Jordan advances in over 20 global indicators

AMMAN — Jordan has made notable progress across more than 20 global indicators in various sectors, reflecting ongoing structural reforms and the implementation of the Economic Modernisation Vision.
 
In digital government and services, the country rose 16 places in the Public Service Delivery Index, 10 places in the E-Government Services Index, 10 places in the Government Technology Maturity Index, and five places in the Government Technology Enablers Index, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
 
In innovation and knowledge, Jordan advanced eight places in the Global Innovation Index and 15 places in the Global Knowledge Index. According to the Future Growth Index, it scored 45.1/100 in the innovation pillar, 53/100 in inclusiveness, 58.2/100 in sustainability, and 55/100 in resilience.
 
On competitiveness, Jordan ranked 59th in the Global Corruption Perceptions Index, placing sixth among Arab countries. The country also improved notably in the Rule of Law and Political Stability Index and climbed eight places in the Business Legislation Index. Progress was additionally recorded in the Public Sector Efficiency Index, reflecting enhanced government procedures.
 
In sports and national image, Jordan rose two places in the FIFA rankings after finishing as runners-up in the Asian Cup and Arab Cup, securing direct qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
 
On economic resilience and inflation control, Jordan advanced five places in the Economic Crisis Response Resilience Index and improved its standing in the Digital Workforce Skills Index. The country also achieved 99.7 per cent in inflation control indicators, ranking 31st globally out of 130 countries.
 
In digital transformation and competitiveness, Jordan rose six places in the Global Digital Competitiveness Ranking and nine places in the Global Competitiveness Yearbook, with additional gains in the Digital Workforce Skills segment of the Digital Adoption Index.
