These inspections covered 7,650 establishments and involved checking 8,550 different products across the Jordan's governorates and districts.

Engineer Abeer Barakat Al-Zuhair, Director-General of JSMO, reported that inspection teams destroyed 58,000 products that did not meet Jordanian standards and technical regulations.

Additionally, 237 judicial decisions were issued against non-compliant establishments, including 151 referrals to the public prosecutor and 73 warnings.

The destroyed products included cleaners, cosmetics, electrical items like plugs, connectors, mixers, faucets, clothing, shoes, children's toys, vehicle oils, and spare parts.

Zuhair also emphasized that the organization is ensuring compliance with safety standards for elevators in residential and commercial buildings. Last year, inspection teams checked 3,750 elevators to ensure they met the required safety regulations.

The organization received and followed up on 1,724 complaints. Zuhair encouraged the public to submit complaints via the unified complaints hotline and WhatsApp (065301243), the organization’s website (jsmo.gov.jo), its social media pages, and the "Your service" platform.
