Israeli Occupation Defense Minister Israel Katz commented on the release of freed prisoner Zakaria Zubeidi, writing on X:

 

"Zakaria Zubeidi, you were released in an agreement for the release of Israeli hostages."

 

He then warned, "One mistake, and you'll reunite with old friends."

 

 

In Ramallah, large crowds gathered to celebrate Zubeidi’s return, joining in the widespread joy following the release of 110 prisoners in the third phase of the exchange deal.

 

Upon arriving, Zubeidi’s first words were: "May God have mercy on our martyrs, heal our wounded in Gaza, and return its people safely to their homes. May He be merciful to Jenin camp and its residents."

 

He continued, "What you're witnessing today is a public vote of confidence in the resistance. Thank you to everyone who stood with the Palestinian people in this crisis."

 

 Zubeidi concluded with a defiant message: "The dragon belongs to the land, and the hunter must leave."
