The office of Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected a new ceasefire proposal from Hamas for the Gaza Strip, dismissing it as unrealistic.
Netanyahu's office stated that the proposal's terms would be reviewed by the war cabinet and expanded Council of Ministers.
Hamas had earlier presented a comprehensive ceasefire plan to mediators, aiming to halt aggression against Gaza, provide relief to its people, return displaced individuals, and withdraw Israeli Occupation Forces.
Hamas also mentioned addressing the prisoner exchange issue in their proposal without elaborating further.
Friday marked the 161st day of Israeli Occupation's assault on the besieged Gaza Strip, amid the ongoing observance of the fifth day of Ramadan in Palestine.
