First aid ship headed for Gaza leaves Cyprus port

A ship loaded with 200 tonnes of food left today, Tuesday, the port of Larnaca in Cyprus, and is en route to Gaza - Laura Lanuza, the spokesperson for the Non-governmental Organization (NGO) “Spanish charity Open Arms” which is operating the vessel said, cited by Agence France-Presse.
 
The ship left Cyprus at around 06:50 GMT, the first such shipment along a maritime corridor from Cyprus aimed at carrying aid to war-torn Gaza on the 158th day of the “Israeli” aggression and the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
 
The toll of victims of malnutrition and drought has risen to 25 after the martyrdom of three new children at al-Shifa Medical Complex, where the Gaza government media office stated that 90 percent of the strip's residents have become displaced.
 
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced an increase in the toll of the aggression to 31,112 martyrs and 72,760 injuries since October 7th.
 
In its daily report, it pointed out that some victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, where the occupation prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
