Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday that Russia is in no hurry to end its military campaign in Ukraine.

 

Putin added at a press conference in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, that the strategy of the Russian forces has not changed as they continue to control territory.

 

He pointed out that the offensive operations in Donbass do not stop, and that they are progressing at a slow pace, and the plan of operations does not require a change, indicating that the Russian army occupies more additional territories.

 

The Russian president made it clear that his country is not fighting with its entire army, but only with contracted soldiers.

 

He pointed out that the main objective of the military operation is the 'liberation' of the entire Donbass lands.
