A pop-up for Gaza, grassroots initiative, is orchestrating an evening of solidarity, aiming to turn dreams into reality for 40 displaced Gazan students currently residing in Jordan.

The event, which includes a fundraiser Iftar at the National Gallery, will also feature an online auction, inviting participants to bid on a range of items donated to support the cause.

One of the standout pieces up for auction is a collection of exquisite jewelry crafted by Nejla bint Asem, symbolizing solidarity with the people of Palestine. Each piece is inspired by traditional Palestinian embroidery motifs, adorned with diamonds and crafted from 18k gold, embodying the strength and beauty of Palestinian culture.

Another highlight of the auction is a captivating painting titled "Gaza - 2023" by Mohammad Nasrallah. Measuring 40x40 cm, the oil on canvas artwork depicts the beauty and resilience of Gaza, offering a glimpse into the spirit of the city beyond the headlines.

Additionally, Naqsh Collective presents a heartfelt project in the form of a Thobe, intricately embroidered with memories and heritage by Nisreen and Nermeen Abudail. This initiative, in collaboration with 81 Design, celebrates Palestinian identity and tradition, empowering skilled women embroiderers in Ein Al Hilweh camp in Lebanon.

All proceeds from the auction will go to Tadamon, a chosen NGO dedicated to supporting Palestinian communities. By participating in this auction, individuals can contribute to the education and empowerment of Gazan students, ensuring that hope continues to shine bright amidst adversity.

In times of darkness, it is the collective spirit of unity and compassion that illuminates the path towards a brighter future.
