AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah has commended the “Nashama” for their achievement in the Arab Cup, hailing Jordanian’s unity and support for the national football team.

 

The King wrote on X, “We saw Jordanians united as one heart, a team and a crowd reflecting all that is beautiful in this homeland. In the national team, Jordanians see themselves: authentic, resilient and full of love. Jordan is fortunate to have you, Nashama.

 

“We are all proud of you and of what you have achieved. Praise be to God for your safe return, and welcome home, you have illuminated the nation.”

 

The King also thanked Doha for “bringing Arab brothers together, and congratulations to our brotherly Morocco."

 

Jordan finished runners-up after extra-time loss to Morocco in Arab Cup final on Thursday.
