Amman - The Ministry of Education has announced beginning of the new school year calendar 2019/2020.

 

Jordanian schoolchildren will be going back to their classrooms on September 1th 2019, which marks the actual beginning of the first semester. Meanwhile, teachers will start their lesson planning a few days earlier, on August 25, the ministry said in its announcement.

 

The 1st semester's exams will end on 18 February 2020, followed by a 12-day leave, the ministry pointed out.
