Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that it targeted the “Israeli” settlement of Ashdod with a barrage of rockets, marking the first such attack in weeks.

 

In a brief statement via its official Telegram channel, the Al-Qassam Brigades said that launching the rocket barrage towards occupied Ashdod comes in response to the targeting of civilians in the Gaza Strip.

 

Earlier, the resistance had announced the sniping of three soldiers from the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, in addition to targeting a fortified building housing IOF special forces with a Thermobaric Rocket (TBG-7V), resulting in casualties among its members who were also situated near Al-Shifa Hospital.
