Israeli Occupation military continues its aggression on Gaza for the 414th consecutive day, targeting various aspects of life in the besieged Gaza Strip, leaving its residents in a dire situation.

 

Hospitals at Risk of Shutdown

Gaza's Ministry of Health has warned of an imminent shutdown of hospitals across the Strip due to severe fuel shortages. Palestinian sources reported that 'Israeli' airstrikes targeted electrical generators at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, causing a complete power outage.

 

The hospital’s director revealed that the facility’s entrance was struck without warning, marking the second consecutive day of deliberate targeting.

 

Medical Staff Injured in Attacks

Two days ago, 'Israeli' forces bombarded Kamal Adwan Hospital, injuring several medical staff members, some of whom were critically wounded and transferred to intensive care.

 

Escalation of Resistance

In response, Hamas’ military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, claimed responsibility for two operations targeting 'Israeli' soldiers in Jabalia and Rafah.

 

Through a statement on their Telegram channel, Al-Qassam reported:

 

Sniping four soldiers, killing two.

Destroying a Merkava tank with a Yassin-105 shell.

Striking an 'Israeli' bulldozer attempting to retrieve the tank, causing further damage.

The group also noted the subsequent evacuation of injured soldiers via military helicopters.

 

Rising Casualties

'Israeli' military reported a total of 804 soldiers killed since October 7, with 378 deaths occurring during the ground invasion launched on October 27.

 

Additionally, 5,414 soldiers have been injured, categorized as follows:

 

3,276 minor injuries

1,346 moderate injuries

792 critical injuries

Background on the Escalation

Hamas initiated its Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7, 2023, in retaliation for Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.

 

In response, Israeli Occupation launched its Iron Swords military operation against Gaza, carrying out widespread airstrikes that have killed hundreds, injured thousands, and caused extensive destruction to residential buildings, institutions, and infrastructure.
