AMMAN — The Jordanian Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has captured the attention and admiration of thousands of visitors, topping the event’s official satisfaction ranking in a recent survey conducted by the Japan EXPO association.
According to the Japanese company Pia, which polled 2,000 visitors to the global event, Jordan earned the highest satisfaction score among all participating nations. The Kingdom surpassed major exhibitors such as Italy and the United States, both of which drew long queues and large crowds at the venue.
Held under the theme "Weaving the Future", Expo 2025 Osaka opened its doors on April 13 and will run until October 13, with participation from over 150 countries and international organizations. The event is a major platform for showcasing innovation, sustainability, and cultural heritage on a global scale.
Jordan’s pavilion has become a standout attraction, offering an immersive, 10-minute journey through more than 10,000 years of history.
Visitors experience the Kingdom’s rich cultural legacy and vibrant tourism potential through interactive storytelling, architectural design, and traditional craftsmanship. From sitting on the sands of Wadi Rum in a 360-degree “Theatre of Civilisations” dome to sampling herbs and handmade products in the "Herb House" and local craft areas, the pavilion blends authenticity with cutting-edge technology.
The pavilion’s façade —a modern reinterpretation of the red-and-white Jordanian shemagh— was designed and built entirely in Jordan by students of the Advanced Vocational Training College, established by the Crown Prince Foundation. This design choice symbolises Jordan’s commitment to empowering its youth while promoting national identity.
The pavilion also offers a private, reservation-only floor, featuring a Dead Sea-inspired "Salt Cave Spa" and a multi-purpose hall for cultural performances and networking events. These features have further elevated the visitor experience, contributing to the pavilion’s top satisfaction rating.
Jordan’s National Day at the Expo will be celebrated on May 7 with a live cultural performance streamed across the Expo’s platforms, highlighting the Kingdom’s artistic diversity and promoting tourism and investment opportunities.
As Expo 2025 continues to unfold in Osaka, Jordan’s resounding success at the event affirms its strategic vision: to be seen not just as a historical crossroads, but as a forward-looking nation with a rich cultural offering and a dynamic youth leading the way.
