On Thursday morning, Israeli Occupation’s Home Front Command announced that sirens were triggered in the settlement of Metulla, located near the northern border with Lebanon.
Shortly after, the command clarified that the alarm was the result of a "false detection," after initially reporting that rockets had been launched from Lebanese territory.
In recent weeks, the border areas between Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories have witnessed increasing tension, with violations of the ceasefire agreement by the Israeli Occupation military. This ongoing unrest has heightened concerns about the stability of the region.
