‘Israeli’ aggression enters 280th day

Roya News

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 280th consecutive day, by land, sea, and air, since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of over 38,345 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, and 88,295 injuries in a toll released by the Palestinian ministry of health.

The IOF continues to demolish buildings and commit massacres against civilians in the Strip, the latest of which was the demolition of residential buildings in central Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.

“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said yesterday the war against the Gaza Strip will continue until “Israel” achieves victory until Gaza no longer poses a threat to them; even if it takes time.

“Under the leadership of the Chief of Staff [Halevi], decisive blows have been dealt to the enemy by land, sea, and air,” he added.

On the recent revival of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange talks, he further claimed that he is committed to the four principles he outlined previously, reiterating his goal for the return of the “Israeli” captives held in the Gaza Strip.

The four are “the elimination of Hamas rule in the Gaza Strip, the return of all our hostages home, thwarting any future threat to Israel from Gaza,” and the return of displaced “Israelis” to their homes in the south and north.

“I am committed to the proposed exchange deal, but Hamas is being obstinate,” he continued, “every deal must allow Israel to return to combat.”

He admitted that the Israeli Occupation is “paying a high price during the war,” but that the key to victory is defeating Hamas.

On the recent escalations with Hezbollah on the border with Lebanon, Netanyahu vowed that they “will me their fate” – adding that they will “change the situation in the north”.

An investigation into the events of Oct. 7 revealed that an “Israeli” tank shelled a house in Be'eri Kibbutz, leading to the killing of 13 “Israelis”; believing there were armed Hamas fighters holding hostages in the house.

The investigation described the incident as a colossal failure, caused by painful and humiliating negligence.

It added that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrived at the entrance of the Be'eri Kibbutz, but did not mobilize and enter the area until hours laters, while Armed Palestinian resistance fighters were inside as the fighting raged.
