AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Sunday checked on the Desert Highway renovation project, where he had a firsthand look at the work progress, stressing the government's commitment to complete the project during this year.
During his tour, the premier spoke with workers and contractors, noting the project’s achievements and key challenges, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During a phone call with Hala Radio, Razzaz said that the renovation will conclude during 2020, in accordance with the government's pledges, adding that the highway has witnessed several fatal accidents.
The government is following up through the Ministry of Public Works and Housing to address any problems
that may occur.
