AMMAN — Minister of Justice Bassam Talhouni on Sunday discussed with US Ambassador to Jordan Jim Holtsnider ways to enhance cooperation in various legal and judicial fields between the two countries. During the meeting, Talhouni reviewed the paths of joint cooperation and existing agreements linking Jordan and the US, stressing the importance of developing the partnership in judicial areas, particularly regarding enhancing judicial collaboration and the ongoing mutual programmes. Talhouni also commended the active role played by the US in supporting the justice sector, pointing out that this support aligns with the comprehensive modernisation vision adopted by the government under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, according to a ministry statement.
