Princess Muna attends Families and Friends Society of Persons with Disabilities ceremony

AMMAN — HRH Princess Muna, honorary president of the Families and Friends Society of Persons with Disabilities, on Saturday attended the society’s annual charity ceremony, attended by a number of members of the diplomatic corps, official figures and representatives of supporting entities. 
 
Riham Omeish, head of the society, highlighted the importance of the continued support the society receives, which has contributed to enhancing its programmes and services provided to persons with disabilities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
 
She expressed appreciation for the efforts of the administrative and working staff, as well as the support of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the ministries of social development and education, members of diplomatic corps, national companies and institutions, and civil society organisations.
 
She highlighted supporters’ role in ensuring the society’s continuity and the achievement of its humanitarian goals.
 
At the conclusion of the event, Princess Muna honoured a number of partner organisations and supportive friends in recognition of their distinguished efforts, valuable support and significant contributions to advancing the society’s mission and developing its services.
 
Proceeds from the ceremony will be allocated to support the implementation of the society’s programmes and future plans.
