The Jordan Times

AMMAN — There are currently no threats to the security of the Kingdom or its citizens amid the ongoing ceasefire between Iran and Israel, according to Ahmad Nuaimat, Director of Media Response at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM).

Speaking to Al Mamlaka TV, Nuaimat said that the total number of objects that fell on Jordan exceeded 250, including drones, missiles, and missile fragments, which landed across most of the Kingdom’s governorates.

Regarding casualties, Nuaimat said that eight people sustained minor injuries, all of whom are in good condition.

Since the start of the military escalation between Israel and Iran, the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management has classified the threat level in Jordan as “not concerning”.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission Captain Haitham Misto stressed that Jordanian airspace remains safe for civil aviation.

The ceasefire between Iran and Israel took effect Tuesday after 12 days of military escalation, during which Jordanian airspace was breached by Iranian missiles and drones. These were intercepted by the Jordan Armed Forces to ensure the safety of citizens.
