Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi addressed the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit in Riyadh, condemning Israeli Occupation's ongoing aggression against Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon, which has continued for over a year amid what he described as unjustified international silence.
Sisi emphasized that this escalation undermines regional stability and threatens the future of the Middle East. He strongly condemned what he referred to as a "systematic killing campaign" targeting civilians in Gaza, stressing that the current situation is no longer acceptable and that continued aggression places the region and the world at a dangerous crossroads.

He reiterated that achieving security and stability in the region requires the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital, describing this as the only viable solution for ensuring Palestinian rights and achieving lasting peace.
Sisi also reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to opposing any plans aimed at eliminating the Palestinian cause and expressed Egypt's readiness to cooperate with the international community to find a just and comprehensive solution to the aggression.
He called for an immediate halt to the aggression against Lebanon and the implementation of UN Resolution 1701.
"Egypt remains committed to peace as the strategic and sole option, despite the current harsh realities," he declared.
The summit, called by Saudi Arabia, was attended by delegations from Arab and Islamic countries to discuss the ongoing situations in Gaza and Lebanon. Saudi Arabia explained that the summit was a continuation of the November 2023 joint Arab-Islamic summit, following directives from King Salman and efforts by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to coordinate with Arab and Islamic leaders.
Saudi Arabia's statement also highlighted the ongoing Israeli Occupation aggression against Gaza and Lebanon as the primary focus of the summit.
