On Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi met with a number of international officials, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and regional and international cooperation.
Safadi held a meeting with Japan's Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Hisashi Matsumoto, during which both sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Jordan and Japan.
The meeting also addressed the developments in the regional situation, with both parties emphasizing the importance of continued coordination to achieve security and stability.
In another meeting, Safadi received UN Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security Gilles Michaud. The discussion focused on strengthening the existing cooperation between Jordan and the UN, emphasizing the importance of ensuring adequate and sustainable humanitarian aid reaches the affected areas.
These meetings are part of Jordan's diplomatic efforts to develop international partnerships and enhance the Kingdom's role in supporting regional security and stability.
