During a parliament session held today, MPs approved on the Public Prosecution’s request to refer former Minister of Environment and current senator, Taher Al-Shakhshir to the judiciary on corruption cases brought against him.

 

Head of the legal committee, MP Abd Al Monem Odat said that the violations reported by the prosecution against Shakshir should be investigated.

 

The Parliamentary Legal Committee recommended permitting the Public Prosecutor to pursue former Minister Taher Al-Shakshir.
