The eastern desert region will experience renewed weather instability by Friday afternoon and evening, with clouds forming at various altitudes and bringing scattered thunderstorms, primarily affecting northern Mafraq and along the border areas, as well as the Ruwayshid and Safawi areas.
Rainfall is expected to vary in intensity, with heavy downpours possible in some localized areas, potentially leading to flash flooding. Thunderstorm clouds passing through may also bring strong surface winds, and isolated thunderstorms could extend to other parts of the kingdom, including the northern regions, but likely in limited areas.
By Friday night, unstable weather conditions are expected to subside, though chances of isolated rain showers will persist in scattered areas. Conditions will turn relatively cool with light easterly winds, gusting in some western regions.
