Emily Damari, who was released by Hamas on Sunday, asked her captors to keep her in captivity and release Keith Siegel, the father of her close friend Shire Siegel, Channel 12 reported Friday quoting conversations Damari had with friends.

Keith Siegel, a 65-year-old American citizen, is believed to be in worse condition than Damari, who is 28 and holds British-'Israeli' citizenship. He is expected to be released later in the first phase of the ongoing 42-day ceasefire and prisoner release agreement, which requires Hamas to free 33 women, children, elderly men over 50, and the sick and injured.

Damari was one of the first three women released on Sunday, Jan. 19, followed by four female soldiers on Saturday, Jan. 25. Two civilian women and two children remain in captivity, according to reports.
