At least 15 people have been killed and 10 others injured after an Israeli Occupation airstrike targeted a school in Gaza City that was housing displaced individuals, according to Gaza's civil defence agency.

 

Spokesman Mahmud Bassal confirmed the attack on Wednesday, stating, "Our teams retrieved 15 martyrs and 10 injured individuals after Israeli occupation aircraft targeted the Al-Karama school, which shelters displaced persons in the Tuffah neighbourhood, east of Gaza City."

 

The school, which had been serving as a refuge for those fleeing the ongoing aggression, was struck during a period of heightened tensions in the region.
