Jordanians across the kingdom performed the prayer for rain (Salat al-Istisqa) after Saturday afternoon prayers, asking for God's mercy and rainfall.

 

The prayer, organized by the Ministry of Awqaf, was attended by many citizens in all governorates.

 

Minister Mohammad Khlaileh encouraged the public to engage in good deeds before performing the prayer, such as seeking forgiveness, giving charity, fasting, and restoring rights to others.

 

The Ministry emphasized its commitment to reviving the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by holding the rain prayer when rainfall is delayed, praying for rain to bless the country and its people.
