The Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) conducted a new airdrop of food aid over northern Gaza on Tuesday using two C130 aircraft belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF).
The airdrop included approximately 6.6 tons of essential food supplies as part of Jordan’s ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts to support the people of Gaza amidst the ongoing war on the territory.
JAF reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid through airdrops and the humanitarian air bridge, which has been carried out by RJAF helicopters over the past week, in addition to ground convoys in collaboration with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO).
These efforts aim to help the people of Gaza overcome the dire circumstances they are facing, alongside the continued operations of field hospitals providing medical and treatment services in both the northern and southern parts of the territory.
It is noteworthy that since the start of the Israeli Occupation aggression on Gaza, the Jordanian Armed Forces have carried out 124 airdrops, and 266 airdrops in coordination with friendly and brotherly nations.
