US President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social Tuesday, claiming that 'Israel' will not move forward with a planned strike on Iran and that the ceasefire between the two nations remains in effect.

 

In his post, Trump wrote, "ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly 'Plane Wave' to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect! Thank you for your attention to this matter! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES."

 

The statement came amid rising concerns of a renewed military confrontation between the two regional adversaries, following alleged violations of the fragile truce. Trump, who previously took credit for brokering the ceasefire, appeared to signal that immediate conflict had been averted.

 

In a separate, more assertive post, Trump added, "IRAN WILL NEVER REBUILD THEIR NUCLEAR FACILITIES!"
