Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of the Yemen’s Houthis, announced Today that his group launched strikes on “Israeli” sites in Jaffa, Ashkelon, and other areas, as part of what he described as support for the Palestinian cause.
“From the beginning, we have stood with the Palestinian people and supported their resistance, delivering strikes against the Israeli enemy,” Al-Houthi said, adding that they inflicted severe damage on “Israel’s” economy by completely disabling the Port of Eilat.
“The missile strikes on occupied Jaffa caused widespread panic and fear,” he added, noting that their missile attacks disrupted aviation at the Ben Gurion Airport.
On the recent “Israeli” airstrikes on key Yemeni infrastructure such as ports, energy and oil facilities, Al-Houthi said the strikes killed nine civilians, to which they launched two ballistic missiles in conjunction with the “Israeli” strikes.
