“Israeli” forces conducted a wide-scale arrest campaign early Monday in the occupied West Bank, targeting the village of Baqa al-Hatab, east of Qalqilya, according to Palestinian local sources.
Palestinian media reported that the detainees included a wounded individual, a woman, and an elderly man. Those arrested were identified as:
1. Samer Ali Samara
2. Tariq Samara
3. Injured detainee Badr Abdullah
4. Arafat Rub’
5. The mother of the Qadumim operation’s alleged assailant
6. Elderly detainee Basem Barghouthi
7. Basem Abu Hammam
8. Salim Shahir Abu Tabaikh
Arrests in Bethlehem
In Bethlehem, “Israeli” forces arrested two young Palestinians during a raid on the town of Tuqu’, southeast of the city.
Mahmoud Rateb al-Amour (19) and Mahdi Mohammad al-Amour (19) were detained after their homes were searched, according to Palestinian news agency (WAFA).
Additional raids across the West Bank
“Israeli” forces also conducted operations in other parts of the West Bank, including the cities of Hebron, Sa’ir, al-Aroub camp, Shuafat refugee camp north of Jerusalem, and Baqa al-Hatab. The incursions resulted in further arrests and intensified tensions in these areas.
