Hezbollah issued a statement addressing claims made by Al-Hadath news regarding the Israeli Occupation's recent Batroun operation, in which an "Israeli" incursion in northern Lebanon resulted in the abduction of a Lebanese national.
In its statement, Hezbollah criticized Al-Hadath for consistently attributing their news to unnamed sources within the party, particularly concerning what it described as "Zionist aggression" in the Batroun region.
The statement asserted, "Our position is clear; we have previously articulated and reinforced this in earlier communications. There are no legitimate sources within Hezbollah or associated with it, and any alleged sources providing information to Al-Hadath and similar outlets are part of a propaganda effort aligned with the Israeli narrative against our resistance and the Lebanese people."
Earlier on Saturday, Al-Hadath reported, citing sources it claimed were affiliated with Hezbollah, that the individual targeted in the "Israeli" operation was Imad Amhaz, a party official.
