During a session before the Jordanian Parliament, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi emphasized that Jordan’s national principles are clear, focusing on the protection of its citizens.

He reinforced that "Jordan is for Jordanians, and Palestine is for Palestinians," stressing that the principle of rejecting displacement is unyielding.

Safadi recalled King Abdullah's repeated statement: "Jordan is for Jordanians, and Palestine is for Palestinians, and the solution to the Palestinian issue lies on Palestinian soil."

He further stated that the priority at this stage is to solidify the ceasefire in Gaza, confirming that Jordan, under the direct follow-up of King Abdullah, continues to lead efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

Additionally, Safadi highlighted Jordan's ongoing efforts to support Gaza, reaffirming that any attempts to displace Palestinians will not lead to peace or security in the region.

Safadi also reiterated Jordan’s firm rejection of any discussions about a "substitute homeland," emphasizing that the Kingdom will continue to firmly oppose such proposals.

On other matters, Safadi expressed Jordan's continued support for Lebanon, its sovereignty, and the restoration of its institutions. He also reaffirmed Jordan’s support for Syria during this critical historical phase.
